AFS India started Interstate Regional Exchange Program to give regional cultural learning to the students of schools within India. The program facilitates exchanges between different schools, giving them an opportunity to learn about different cultures, languages, lifestyles that exist in the country by engaging the students into various extracurricular activities and other learning process such as art, craft, music, dance, calligraphy etc.

Between Shristi English Medium School, Anand (Host) & Maratha High School, Nashik

Shristi English Medium School, Anand hosted 13 students and 2 teachers of Maratha High School, Nashik under AFS Interstate Regional Class Exchange Program from 8th to 14th January, 2018.

During the program, students were able to experience the festivities of Gujarat through celebrations of Makarsankranti and Uttarayan. Apart from the cultural visits to Sardar Patel Smarak, Sabarmati Ashram, the students visited the famous Amul Dairy, a Papad Factory and Charusat University, Changa. The students thoroughly enjoyed the Gujarati culture and food with host parents.
