“I am really blessed to be a part of AFS which is really rendering an wonderful service with the motto of spreading peace by doing exchange program. It sounds meaningful, but I was not clear about the process. When our Management SGI got associated with AFS, I thought that there is something meaningful behind this program. I am really lucky that I was given an opportunity to become AFS Coordinator by our management in the year 2016. My first encounters with great stalwarts who are behind this AFS happened when I had attended 10th Annual Volunteer Meet which was held in New Delhi. Those three days were tthe wonderful experience of my life time. There are no words to express how amazing it was and how it was organized.

I am happy to express my heartfelt gratitude for the hospitality shown towards us, and the way interactive sessions conducted by eminent educationists from different countries. It provided a great platform to exchange our views and friendship with one motto of spreading peace  while inculcating it as a part of curriculum for our future generation. Since then, I have been working as volunteers for this organization. From SGI, the very first year we could send 2 students under one year exchange program. Making arrangements and displaying vibrant chapters (cities) to enrich our state culture was a superb idea. It helped us in learning of many things which we were not aware of before. As a part of action plan, I introduced this program to some our friends. They really appreciated AFS and are looking forward to bond with AFS in near future. As and when I attend training sessions conducted by AFS, I feel that itt really enriches my knowledge and gives me tons of ideas which I later share with my colleagues. Everyone then starts to implment the idea. I take this privilege to extend my best wishes for all the AFSers who are involved directly or indirectly for a good cause.”
