AFS India started Interstate Regional Exchange Program to give regional cultural learning to the students of schools within India. The program facilitates exchanges between different schools, giving them an opportunity to learn about different cultures, languages, lifestyles that exist in the country by engaging the students into various extracurricular activities and other learning process such as art, craft, music, dance, calligraphy etc.

A team of 15 students from Vantage Hall Girls’ Residential, Dehradun escorted by Nirmala Khatri visited RKK from 28th January to 5th February 2018 under the aegis of AFS Intercultural Regional Class Exchange Program. The delegates received a warm welcome followed by cultural presentation and Principal’s Dinner for the guests.

In the series of events scheduled, the students were taken on a visit to Osian, Arna Jharna, Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mandore Gardens, Jal Bhagirathi Project, CAZRI and Indian Map Institute. This program also gave them an opportunity to widen their horizon of learning in art and craft, dance and music, jewelery designing, chocolate making, painting and textile designing through various workshops.

The bond was further strengthened by movie show on Sunday evening. Before bidding adieu with warm heart to visiting team, a mesmerizing Valedictory Ceremony was organized where both host and guest team performed dance and rendition show which enthralled the audience to great extent.
