Michele Peters, Branch Chief, Youth Programs Division, Educational and Cultural Affairs Bureau, United States Department of State visited India in the month of October. Her visit led to interaction with host students who are on program funded by U.S. Department of State: NSLI-Y and YES Abroad. She interacted with host students and YES alumni in Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata and Indore.
During her visit, she also met representatives from Schools who hosted or are hosting sponsored program students in India and also showed her gratitude to host families who opened their home and hearts to the U.S. Exchange Students.
