AFS ICL Educators’ Training and Effect+ workshops were organised in:
- Suchitra Academy, Hyderabad
- The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, Hyderabad
- The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, Hyderabad
- Rajkumar College, Raipur, Chhattisgarh
The ICL Educators’ Training equips teachers with skills to impart learners with socio-emotional skills such as mindfulness, empathy and compassion that enables them to become global ci zens. Such skills help learners appreciate different cultures, act responsibly and find solutions to the global crisis. The workshops were duly facilitated by Ms. Sarita Badhwar.
Effect+ workshops used interactive learning methods to teach students how they can advance the United Na on’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while also helping them develop intercultural competences, become savvy about the world around them, and be prepared to make an impact in their local communi es. This supports the global movement to advance intercultural learning and global citizenship education and AFS’s role in it.
