The Mid-Stay Orientation was conducted for the NSLI-Y Summer Program, English Short-Term Program, STEM Program, Germany Reciprocal & PEACE Program in the month of the end of July to August.
Orientation has helped the participants to reflect on their journey with challenges they are facing to achieve their program expectations. The participants introspect on the educational learning accomplishment being part of the short-term hosting program.
This orientation has given them an opportunity to talk and discuss different areas of the adjustment and adaptation process in a safe setting. The orientation was well received by the participants, few of them were surprised to find that others in the group are experiencing the same joys and challenges that they are facing.
After the end of the orientation, participants were able to identify what expectations they have for the duration of your exchange time.
