The program is sponsored by the U.S Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and implemented by AFS Intercultural Programs India.

The 5 workshops focused on engaging and sensitizing the youth between the age of 14-16 years about the importance of peace and celebrate cultural integrity in diversity, positive world narrative, global friendship, empathy and respect.

In the age of increasing cultural transitions observed across the globe, these peacebuilding workshops highlighted how youth can take charge of bringing harmony in their community by starting small and leading to an amplifier effect of mindset transformation of how cultures are perceived.

The workshop covered certain imperative concepts of peacebuilding such as conflict transformation, youth as advocates of peace, community engagement and many more.
