AFS Participants will either be placed in Junior High School (Grades 9-10) or Senior High School (Grades 11 or 12), depending on the host school’s assessment of the student’s Academic Forms.
In the Junior High School (JHS) level (Grades 7 to 10), students take general education subjects as prescribed by the Department of Education. For the Senior High School (SHS) level (Grades 11 and 12), students are assigned to a specific track.
TRACKS: Each AFS student at the Senior High School level can be placed in different tracks: Academic Track: Accountancy and Business Management (ABM); Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS); and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Track: Home Economics, Tourism and Hospitality, Information and Communication Technology (ICT),Culinary Arts, Agriculture and Fishery Sports Track Arts and Design Track.
