This year for Global Youth Service Day, the new theme was Ecology: Caring For the Planet, where volunteers were asked to strategize plans to work towards saving the planet.
On 3rd May 2017, 11 Ahmedabad volunteers participated in GYSD activity at a very beautiful place of specially gifted people, Blind People Association (BPA) where they planted 20 small plants. This activity could not have been done without the help of Ms. Ushma Das and Ms. Kavina Khatri, who are the staff members of BPA. The chapter is really grateful to them.
