Between Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls Public School, Jodhpur and Yadavindra Public School, Patiala (Date 20th to 30th April 2018)

“A team of 15 students from RKK with their teacher Mrs Neha Nautiyal visited Yadavindra Public School, Patiala for AFS Regional Class Exchange Program from 20th  to 30th April 2018.

The host students enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of YPS and witnessed the rich cultural and historical heritage through their visit to iconic landmarks of the city and were awestruck by their beauty. Some of the places include Gurudwara Dukhniwaran, National Institute of Sports, School of Deaf & Dumb, Fun World – Water Park etc.

Fun activities in the field of Art, Music, Cookery, Robotics and Dance classes kept them engaged throughout their stay. Raw beauty of the local markets – Adalat Bazar and AC Market was greatly appreciated by everyone which also satisfied their urge to shop. Cultural evening, JAM session, DJ and Principal’s Dinner was an icing on the cake. Day trip to Chandigarh and Mohali developed a sense of intercultural awareness besides connecting them to the diverse and rich heritage of our country. 

Such exchange programs conducted under the aegis of AFS, India definitely help develop collaborations, bridge distance between states and regions, cultures and geographical boundaries, bringing the world closer. It also give the students, a peek into the Indian life style and the value system.  Students returned with golden memories and a lot of experience. No words can adequately express their gratitude to all the stake holders.”
