“Volunteering can be a great way to settle into a new community, meet people, and learn valuable skills. That’s why I thank my Management who believed in me and gave me an opportunity to be a part of National Community Services-2019 organized by AFS.
The National Community Service program Program left a life-changing impact on me. It super-charged my existing skills while helping me to build new ones such as time management, community analysis, decision-making, planning, and presenting.
I was a part of the sports group along with Aaditya, Netra, and Dhruv. The moments spent with students at Palaj and Basan will always remain with me. The Great support by AFS Team leader Divya Ma’am and Aadil bhai was unforgettable. A special thanks to my host family (Mrs. & Mr. Parmar) who were always there to help us round the clock and bless us at each step. Looking forward to the next volunteering opportunity.”
