AFS India new hosting cycle 2019 started with many diverse short-term programs like English Summer Program, STEM Program, Germany Reciprocal Program.
AFS India Hosting Short Term Programs are from 4 weeks to 10 weeks hosted in different cities of India with respect to their themes. AFS India is hosting 48 students from eight different countries in the on the hosting short term program USA, Japan, Italy, Canada, Turkey, Portuguese, Belgium French and Germany.
Each Hosting Short Term Program had Arrival orientation within the first week of the arrival of the group. All the Host student underwent the Arrival orientation with the purpose to introspect into the expected realistic and unrealistic expectations and introduction of the journey of the intercultural exchange. The orientation helped them to understand the risk management measures.
Arrival Orientation helped to prepare the students to set the right expectation from the program and learn educational value with a happy hosting experience.
