NSLI-Y is a program of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs

The Hosting season for 2019 kick start with the Arrival Orientation for US State Department Program- National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) Summer Program on July 1, 2019.

The program welcomed 15 students from the USA for a duration of 6 weeks to learn Hindi Language. The program is being hosted by Delhi International School, Dwarka and Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh. The arrival orientation was an important event to manage expectations of the students, provide tools for adaptation and risk management. The students appreciated the induction into a new culture to help them have a successful exchange year!
