YES Abroad is funded by the U.S. Department of State

Anna Keyzer, Dontae Ryan (YES Abroaders) and Roberto Andreozzi (AFS Italian Student) hosted in Kolkata participated in CLICK Competition, a part of Lakshmipat Singhania Academy’s alpha fest ‘EXEBYTE 2019’.

As a part of the competition, the students had a nature walk and enjoyed the ‘Glimpses of Nature’ with co-competitors, where they spent the day clicking pictures and interacting with the local people at the Prinsep Ghat Kolkata.

The students also participated in the “Shola Workshop” held in Indian Council for Cultural Relations on 19th July with the participation of about 100 participants wherein they learnt about the Indian cork (plant product) which can be pressed and shaped into objects of art. It was an art immersion exercise for them.
