“Our Principal Mrs S Amudha Lakshmi was conferred CBSE Best Teacher Award as an acknowledgment of her hard work and commitment in the holistic development of students.
A total of 33 CBSE teachers from across India and abroad received awards for their innovations in classroom teaching for the academic year 2016 -2017.
The Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Mr Upendra Kushwaha gave away the award, on the 11th of September 2017 at New Delhi, in the august presence of CBSE Chairperson Ms Anita Karwal; Director of NCERT, Mr Hrushikesh Senapathy; Member Secretary of NCTE, Mr Sanjay Awasthi; and other dignitaries from the MHRD.
The award consists of a merit certificate, a shawl and a cash award of Rs 50,000.”
